Rai ciRV
Rai ciRV™ is a drop-in replacement for the TIBCO Finance ciServer that allows application migration from a ciServer-based infrastructure to TIBCO Rendezvous with no changes to application software. ciRV not only offers an easy transition to a modern and supported middleware infrastructure, ciRV takes advantage of recent innovations in TIBCO Rendezvous to reduce latency, provide higher throughput, and offer Linux platform support for ciServer applications
For years the TIBCO Finance ciServer was the middleware foundation of choice for the financial services community. The ciServer has been obsoleted, but many institutions still rely on the ciServer as the communications backbone for their legacy applications. Until now these institutions faced a choice: undertake a migration to a new middleware platform, or seek extended and costly support for their ciServer-based applications.
Rai Technology is offering a new alternative. With the Rai ciRV transport replacement, institutions can extend the life of their ciServer-based applications and even move them to new platforms without making changes to the ciServer components of their code bases. By freeing up development resources, Rai ciRV allows institutions to focus their development efforts on meeting the needs of the business units
